Ullico Inc., the only labor-owned insurance and investment company, announced today that Dan Emery has been promoted to Vice President of Sales, for its subsidiary, The Union Labor Life Insurance Company.
Emery brings more than 20-plus years of expertise in the Taft-Hartley arena to his new role. He joined The Union Labor Life Insurance Company in 2000 as a Northeast Account Executive. In 2006, he became the Northeast Sales Manager. In addition, he has been a member of The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union for 22 years.
“As a union member and insurance professional, I’m proud to serve the men and woman of labor and their jointly managed Health and Welfare Funds,” said Emery.
As Vice President of Sales, Emery is responsible for managing the business’s sales teams and maintaining sales operations. He’ll also play in instrumental role in establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
