Washington, D.C. (March 15, 2022)— Ullico Casualty Group, LLC (UCG), a subsidiary of Ullico Inc., now offers a cyber liability insurance program designed specifically for small and medium-sized unions and benefit plans.
“Unions and benefit plans need liability insurance to mitigate the risks associated with cyberattacks, but carriers have been hesitant to offer them solutions,” says Tina Fletcher, President of Ullico Casualty Group. “This program exists to support unions and benefit plans with affordable, accessible cyber liability insurance.”
The Enterprise Pro Cyber Liability Program is available through authorized brokers to unions and benefit plans in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. It protects businesses from the cost of an actual or suspected violation of a data privacy regulation due to a security breach that results in the unauthorized exposure of protected personal information, which is any private, non-public information of any kind in an organization’s care, custody or control. The program also includes compliance tools for insureds such as pre-breach legal access, written information security programs, training, phishing testing, and risk assessments.
For consideration, prospective policyholders complete a simple enrollment form and affirm their organization has implemented a short list of straightforward loss controls (including multifactor identification and offsite back-ups). Policies are available with limits of $250,000 or $1 million.
The Enterprise Pro Cyber Liability Program is facilitated through the North American Data Security RPG (named insured on master policy), a risk purchasing group registered in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The master policy is underwritten by an A-rated insurance carrier by AM Best.
