Union Labor Life Achieves “A” Rating from AM Best
AM Best Rating Services, Inc. has upgraded The Union Labor Life Company’s Financial Strength Rating (FSR) from “A-” (Excellent) to “A” (Excellent).
Ullico Inc., through its affiliate Ullico Investment Advisors Inc. (UIA) , welcomes the addition of Asa Flynn and Steven Reed to its team of real estate investment professionals. Both Flynn and Reed will serve as Vice Presidents of UIA’s newly launched Real Estate Equity Investment Group.
- Asa Flynn joins the Real Estate Equity Investment Group with over 15 years of real estate investment and asset management experience. Flynn has held key roles serving institutional clients and Taft-Hartley Funds, including the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust, Multi-Employer Property Trust and American Core Realty. At Ullico, he will play a key role in driving acquisition, financing, and asset management activities for UIA’s real estate equity business. Flynn is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, where he received his master’s in real estate development, and Rhodes College, where he earned his BA in Economics & Business Administration.
- Steven Reed, a real estate investment and finance professional with more than 15 years of experience, joins the Real Estate Equity Investment group. Most recently, Reed was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions of U.S. commercial real estate assets at John Hancock/Manulife Investment Management. Similar to Flynn, he will play a key role in driving acquisition, financing, and asset management activities for UIA’s real estate equity business. Reed is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, where he received his master’s in real estate development, and the College of the Holy Cross, where he earned his BA in History.
