Biography
Timothy J. Cunneen, CFA is Chief Investment Officer of UIA Investment Management, LLC. In this role, Mr. Cunneen chairs the Investment Committee and is responsible for leading the fixed-income investment activities. In addition, he analyzes, trades, and manages fixed-income securities and portfolios. Prior to joining UIA-IM, Mr. Cunneen served for 20 years as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Agency MBS and Short Duration strategies at Amundi Smith Breeden where, as the Senior Mortgage Strategist, he was responsible for directing the firm’s investments in Agency mortgage-backed securities. Following graduate school, Mr. Cunneen was an Associate in Institutional Trading at Schroder Wertheim and a Vice President at Chemical Bank. He holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he was a Fuqua Scholar. Mr. Cunneen also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Lafayette College. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder.
