Biography
Mr. Sorkin is Finance Director of Ullico Infrastructure Management Company, LLC, (UIMC). Mr. Sorkin has over 25 years of experience in principal investment and fund management.
Prior to joining UIMC in May 2022, Mr. Sorkin spent six years at WNG Capital, the General Partner of WNG Aircraft Opportunities Fund, a closed end fund specializing in commercial aviation leasing investments, where he was Finance Director. In this role, Mr. Sorkin managed all of the financial activity of the fund, including oversight of accounting and financial reporting. Mr. Sorkin’s previous experience in financial services includes nineteen years with Bank of America and Knight Capital Group, arranging debt financing and investment transactions for assets involved in retail and transportation industries. Additional experience includes portfolio acquisitions and divestitures, asset syndications, management of credit and operations, and private placement of capital markets debt and equity transactions.
Mr. Sorkin has a B.A. in Economics from Washington University, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and holds a certificate in public accounting.
