Biography
Laverne Wingfield is a seasoned insurance claims professional with more than two decades of experience managing and adjusting a wide range of claim exposures.
Since joining Ullico in 2004, Ms. Wingfield has worked on all aspects of claims adjudication and risk management for both the Fiduciary and Union Liability lines. She has handled a multitude of high exposure litigated and non-litigated claims and has provided coverage responses, negotiation services and complex exposure analysis recommendations for management, all of which have been instrumental in maintaining the low and profitable loss ratios on these core affinity lines.
In her current role at Ullico, Ms. Wingfield manages the day-to-day operation of the Professional Liability Claims Department.
Ms. Wingfield is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Baltimore.
