Biography
Julie E. Curd serves as Director of Client Service and is responsible for client relationship management at UIA Investment Management, LLC. In addition to serving as a liaison to the investment consultant community, Ms. Curd is involved in business development and marketing efforts. Prior to joining UIA-IM, Ms. Curd served as Director of Client Service at Amundi Smith Breeden for 16 years. Ms. Curd had previously worked in the nonprofit community as a development officer for The University of the South and for the Medical College of Virginia. She completed an internship with Lehman Brothers in New York. Ms. Curd earned a Master of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, where she was named to the Omicron Delta Kappa honor society. Ms. Curd serves on the Board of Mentors for the Kenan Scholars at the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, and recently completed a six-year term as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill
