Biography
Andrew G. Stone, CFA is a Senior Portfolio Manager focusing on corporate credit and multi-sector investment strategies at UIA Investment Management, LLC. Mr. Stone leads the firm’s corporate credit investment activity and is actively involved in analyzing and selecting individual corporate credit securities. Prior to joining UIA-IM, Mr. Stone served as a Director in the Fixed Income Group at Invesco Institutional, based in Atlanta, Georgia. During his 21 years at Invesco, Mr. Stone held various positions, including serving for six years as a Portfolio Manager for Institutional Core Fixed Income portfolios. For 12 years, he served as a Senior Credit Research Analyst and covered industrial issuers across the credit spectrum in both cash and structured products. He also served as a credit trader, trading cash and CDS in the financials sector. Prior to joining Invesco, Mr. Stone served six years on Active Duty in the US Army as a Field Artillery Officer. He is a graduate of US Army Airborne and Ranger Schools. Mr. Stone holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder.
