Residents of Hawaii recently affected by the Maui wildfires may be eligible for a temporary suspension of their premium payment to allow continuing insurance coverage. Policyholders who live in the affected areas will be given a 90 day extension to pay required premiums.

Since its inception in 1977, J for Jobs’ goal has been to provide competitive risk-adjusted returns while creating jobs for union members and union contractors.  Union Labor Life requires that borrowers follow a Responsible Contractor Policy for all construction work done on J for Jobs projects.

All construction, including tenant improvements and transportation of major construction materials, must be performed only by subcontractors having collective bargaining agreements with trade unions affiliated with the Building and Construction Trades Department of the AFL-CIO as of January 1, 2001.
