Through its internship program, Ullico helps the next generation prepare for the workforce. Since 2007, the company has engaged nearly 100 college students during the summer months. "The program helps students obtain valuable corporate experience," says Maita Murray, Human Resources Generalist at Ullico. "At the same time, it has a positive impact on our business units."

Ullico Casualty Group employees recently toured a special exhibit at the University of Maryland that explored the labor movement’s contributions to social progress. The exhibit relied on documents, images, videos, and artifacts from the Labor History Collections within the Special Collections and University Archives at the University of Maryland Libraries.
