WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 22, 2009) – ULLICO Casualty Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of ULLICO Inc., labor’s own insurance and financial services company, announced the opening of a new branch office in Burbank, California and named the members of a new Surety Team led by Mike Cundiff. The group will focus efforts on the development of partnerships and the identification of untapped market opportunities.
Mr. Cundiff joins ULLICO Casualty Company as the Assistant Vice President / Regional Manager of Surety. Before coming to ULLICO, Cundiff managed the Underwriting Department for Arch Surety’s $25M contract operation in Pasadena, California. Cundiff is a graduate of the University of San Diego and has a degree in Business Administration.
Mike Hall joins ULLICO Casualty Company as the Underwriting Manager. Mr. Hall has more than thirteen years of surety and management experience. Previously, he directed the Small Contractor Program at Arch Surety where, under his supervision, the company realized profitable operations for four consecutive years. Hall is a graduate of San Diego State University.
Ken Huff joins the Burbank office as Loss Control Officer. Mr. Huff‘s surety career spans two decades. He has served as a Claims Examiner with Lou Jones & Associates, Managing General Underwriter for Kemper, and managed the West coast claims operation for Kemper Surety. Huff attended Pasadena City College in California and Western State College of Colorado.
Jasmine Hampton serves as an Underwriter for the new team. Prior to joining ULLICO, Ms. Hampton, a graduate of Pepperdine University, worked with Arch Insurance Group as an Underwriting Specialist in Pasadena, CA.
Regina Rangel supports the team as the Underwriting Assistant. Prior to joining ULLICO, she was with Arch Surety in a similar role providing administrative and underwriting assistance.
