WASHINGTON, D.C.(Sept. 11, 2012)  — Ullico Inc., the only labor-owned insurance and investment company, announced today that its captive insurance program, Signatory Advantage, was a finalist for the “Innovation in Captive Management” and the “Group/Association Captive of the Year” Service Awards from Captive Review. 

On the eleventh anniversary of 9/11, we honor and remember all who were lost on that fateful day.  As we grieve for those affected by the tragedy, we are grateful for those working tirelessly to rebuild at the World Trade Center site.  In particular, we salute the hardworking men and women of Building, Concrete, Excavating and Common Laborers Union Local No. 731 of Greater New York who worked to clear the debris from Ground Zero following the attacks.

Even today, union members work in dangerous occupations.  But nearly a century ago, it was even worse.
